Yea I guess it is, I was just hoping the dealer would throw in some extras and that I would be eligible for the 1000$ costco rebate but I wasnt. Car comes in 4 weeks from now so hopefully costco offers something good as a rebate and not just employee pricing or something.
Btw I'm new here, glad to be a part of the group!

Welcome to the community!

Employee pricing would have saved you a couple thousand bucks. You should have asked for x-plan pricing. Some dealers here in Canada do that without a question.

Sitting around 33K for a base GT in the Edmonton area at the moment. Is that a pretty good price?

Very good price Sir. Considering I paid $40,360 for my full loaded Ecoboost PP.

I'd have to get the paperwork but I got a cashiers cheque for $48,000 when I picked up my car--Premium Ecoboost, PP, Automatic, back up sensors, basic extended warranty and sales tax. Now, the kicker is the money came from my US funds banking account so I think with exchange it cost me $38,500 US. I'm sure I got the X-plan and the Costco discount.
