Depends on where you're located and how long it takes to fill up the rail car. If you were lucky and got onto one of the rail cars loaded this week, you should see the car within a couple weeks. Otherwise, you will likely have to wait a few additional weeks for the next rail car to fill up and depart.

Not sure if you have seen a map of the globe lately but there is a slight difference in size between the two countries.:lol:Damn:( I thought because I am in the same country, it would be quicker.
Takes 3 weeks after production in Munich for a BMW to arrive at the dealer.
Oh well, I m sure it will be worth the wait
As for delivery time, mine was built the week of the 6th, the dealer had it by the 16th, but i am in michigan not far from Flat rock so it was trucked and not rail car. I have heard most that are rail car are usually 4-6 weeks

He meant 3 weeks from being built in Munich to being delivered to the dealer in the US; I'm pretty sure the Atlantic Ocean is bigger than the US, haha.
Granted, I'm sure that only applies to east coast dealers; I'm sure deliver to the west coast takes longer.

Nevertheless, I would plug my VIN in every week, just in case. Last Friday, it worked!

Well, I spoke too soon. COTUSB isnt working, but regular COTUS is. Showing in transit now, delivery estimated for 10/1!

Hey Ford Fam,COTUS works great for me. Shows details, and the status changed from awaiting shipment to in transit this weekend. Delivery this week !

If you know it's shipped by rail, the dealer can get a rail car number and you can track the rail car. Ford Performance provided my VIN, and said it was awaiting shipment and I should have it in a few weeks. I immediately asked the dealer for the rail car number. He found the number right away. When I looked it up in the rail tracking system, it showed that the rail car had arrived at the Mesquite, TX rail yard that morning! Told the dealer, and he had it the next morning. Took less than a week to get to TX.
