Hi everyone,

Can anyone tell me how accurate the acceleration timer is within "Track Apps"?

I've done a few acceleration runs on a desolate road in Mexico recently using Track Apps acceleration timer.

Of course anyone who uses these Apps would like to see better.times which leads me to ask others,, what's the accuracy with the built in app.

I'm not sure how accurate it is in timing events as I don't have a track anywhere near me to do 1/4 mile runs, nor where I used to live. But when I had just over 1,000 miles on it, I did some 0-60 runs to compare regular 87 octane and 93 octane and had obvious difference in times (ran them at the same place under similar conditions). With 87 it was 6.0 seconds and 93 was 4.9 seconds. I expected to see faster times than that but perhaps at a drag strip it would have better results (of course with more miles now on it the engine may be "looser").

Switching gas would never make a 1.1 second gain in 0-60. That is when the timer is the least accurate.

I've logged a 4.6 to 60, and a 12.9 quarter mile myself.
