they also have long tubes. its weird cause I had to do a search on their site to find them, but you can also get a link off google.

Maybe Mac just has not bothered to go thru the application process for CARB certification, as I cannot see why they (or Hooker) would get a different ruling than BBK. The bottom line with a shorty is that it does not modify or affect the catalytic converters, I believe.Edit: I was wrong, the BBK headers are carb certified so they are 50 state legal, I guess the hooker system doesn't have the carb certification.
