What about wet weather and increasing exposure to parts to water?
Lots of water goes over the supercharger on the left, but it doesn't seem to make it to the procharger air intake.
Lots of water goes over the fuse box on the right but (so far) nothing goes into the electrics. Some rust is appearing in one external part of the Procharger but I spray it with gun cleaning oil and it's fine.

TBH dust and dirt in the engine bay is a bigger hassle, but it's only a cosmetic issue.

I've toyed around with the idea of cutting parallelogram shaped pieces of corflute that block the vents. That would work well to stop water going in, easily removable for times you need airflow.
