Hood strut kit

After installing Ford Performance hood struts kit, hood hitting both lower brackets, a evidenced by paint on brackets and hood bulging up at lower bracket area. Going to grind down top of brackets to provide clearance. Anyone else have this problem?

Can you attach a couple pics? I would guess they’re installed wrong because many on here (myself included) have those struts with zero issue.

Okay, I'm a dipshit. After removing the battery cover, looks like the Allen bolt was not secured properly. The bracket was literally not even tight. It's fine now

Glad you got it fixed. The Allen bolts for mine needed to be tighten after each open for the first few lifts to they wouldn't slide.

Thanks. You're reply prompted me to actually remove the battery cover. Immediately obvious. Love the kit. Works great now that it's properly installed. Will keep an eye on this
