Holidays being forced/pushed onto everyone

Anymore the over commercialization of the Holidays is just horrible…

Christmas commercials being run one after the other already, and a Halloween hasn’t even hit. Freaking local Home Depot and Lowe’s had full blown Holiday/Christmas inventory/displays up first week of October. Anymore all of the Holidays are being jammed down everyone’s throats way before the actual Holiday is even in sight….

Anyone else feel the same?

I feel the same. I'm in the "older" group and when I was young the Christmas push didn't start until after Thanksgiving. It's changed from being a religious and/or family/friends time of year to a full on sales event.

I see the same thing with Halloween. It used to be a fun day for kids. Now it's been co-opted by adults into an excuse to party hardy. Maybe the next step is to twist Mother's Day into MILF Day.

Hello; I was in a big box store today, October 28, 2021. In the food section. Saw Christmas candy on the shelf. A chocolate Santa. Just seemed too soon.

Have you seen the animatronic Santa Claus at home depot? He looks better than half of the characters at Pirates of Caribbean ride at Disneyland?

Wake up under the Christmas tree wearing a jacket lantern holding Baby Jesus that looks like chucky.while the kids look for Easter eggs that blow up like fireworks .
