I'm getting this hissing sound inside the car after I installed my JLT CAI with their tune.

The car runs fine, AFR seems ok and the power is there. I checked that everything is tight in the engine bay.

I get this strange hissing/whistle sound inside the car. seems to be coming around the center console area only for certain throttle input. It's not always there. I kept the sound tube attached to the intake.

Just wondering if other had something similar with this setup

I don't personally have this setup but when put CAI on other vehicles you get that whistle at certain RPM levels. Pretty sure it is normal and probably sounds awesome??

this is my 1st NA car so I'm not familiar how a CAI sounds compared to a turbocharged car.

that sound is not exactly awesome for me. lol it doesn't sound like a leak either. I'll try to record it if I can

Cameleon, if it makes you feel any better, I'm experiencing the same noise.
The noise is VERY high pitched and feint, right?

All my gauges read normal.

I'm curious for the answer as well.

Everything connected! Checked for tightness, etc. Used brake cleaner, etc. Hopefully it's nothing!

As stated this is normal sound with a CAI without any air chambers. That is why the factory puts all that stuff on the air box to stop the car from whistling.
