It's not the same prototype as in the original video on the first page of this thread. This one still has the quad pipes and sounds deeper, more like a traditional CPC to me. Certainly compared to the one with half the exhaust blanked off.

Here is a bit of wild speculation (which as you know I am not included to try). Maybe there is a high output 3.5EB jointly developed for this and for the next Raptor. The next Raptor is also being tested right now (and it's 6.2 liter engine has been permanently killed off).

6.2 is not being killed off.

As per its use in the Raptor specifically, that's a different story.

Keep in mind that SVT products usually have different guages and that this is a prototype. Its likely a parts-bin tach in there.

No, this car is all but done, and it's going thru emissions testing right now. There are two distinct engines in these special models. It remains to be seen what they are.

Seems like these are the possibilities:
1. 5.8 supercharge from the GT500
2. bored out 5.2L with 520hp
3. TT V6 eco boost
4. Flat crank 5.0 (though unlikely now)

Considering the GT350 will be positioned against the likes of Corvettes and European and Japanese high performance imports, hopefully it will be LA.

Corvette? Hardly. M3/4? Doubtful unless it's the Trinity since the M3/4 makes over 475 HP and has a phenomenal suspension, a much lower weight, and practically 50/50 weight balance.
Whatever it's called, it's a Mustang first second and last.
