Tough to get these big heavy sleds to move.. We went 10.20's last year. That was between 650-700whp with a big 3.6L Kenne Bell on a full slick.
Do you remember the trap that day and 60ft? Also what options do you have? That plays a decent roll in curb weight as im sure you know

Im trying to figure out what everyone elses deal is. If im not mistaken that was in one of the lower boost pullies. wasnt it? Which would have been roughly high 700swhp. Am i mistaken here?

We went 10.19 @ 131mph after we got our clutch sorted out. 93 oct, Track pack car (manual), full weight with my 250lb ass in the seat. We cut consisten 1.47 - 1.50 60ft times on a 28x10 Hoosier.

No race gas.. No crazy boost levels. That same kit is available in 50 state legal trim with a CARB EO.

It's about right.. Not sure where we were at power wise. We did have to pull timing on pump gas while at the track. It would knock just a tad. That's why the mph was a tad low. It would 60ft like no ones business, though. We just wanted to be as close to real world as possible, because that's what most people are going to run. We could have dumped in c16, cranked more timing and boost in, and easily gone mid to high 9's.

Had clutch issues. Also its a manual vs an Auto.
830whp in a manual is at least low 9s car. Period. Even if the driver cant get it done. I can understand the clutch issue though. Ive done consistent 8s in manual equipped cars so i know its doable. For most people it takes an auto, for some it doesnt.

Gotta disagree with you my man..

These cars, with a 150-160lbs of blower kit, driver, fuel, additional fluids, and full weight trim are probably around 4100lbs race ready.

This is a pretty accurate calculator.. To within a tenth or two. We're probably around 725whp with our shop car.. We trapped roughly that speed and et. 830whp would put you in the 9.80-9.90 range at that race weight.

These cars are heavy!

Im under the impression leathals car was gutted to around 3700-3800 with driver . Jpc ran 9.3s @150 with 843 rwhp with a paxton novi2200sl in an 11 which is roughly 100lbs lighter if i recall correctly.

I will agree the cars are heavy.
