High temp paint on exhaust tips?

hey all

My GT is being delivered Monday, and my ford racing by Borla car back arrived today. I did some research and read that it's a good thing to coat the tips of the system with a few coats of high temp paint. Has anyone had any experience with this paint on a Borla system? I would like to think that after paying what I paid for the catback it wouldn't need any extra paint but I'm open to all opinions.

There's no need to do that...

I use VHT, can be found at most any auto parts store...good for 2000*F. Did my Spintech Mufflers with it...holding up great!

its gets hot, but not real hot back there on the tips.
