Retrieving my GT vert from three months secure storage next Thursday.

I think some owners in snow bound states store your cars over winter?

Do you reckon I'll need to jump start? Will key fob give me door access? Will I need that special metal master key into the door handle to gain access?
Will my settings and sync 3 all be reset to factory default - or blank?

What has been your experience?
Car 3 weeks old when I stored it in locked container. Only 1000 kms.

My bet is everything will be fine, but you might bring one of those portable battery chargers, just in case.

Wow, that's a bit quick on the battery running down.

It'll probably need a jump. Someone here who worked for a battery company said they want a good battery to last 45 days on standby.

You need a Battery tender jr. if your going to let the car sit. Keeps the battery fully charged.

The battery WILL be dead! if doors were locked you WILL need that key and door keyhole access. I Store it every winter, tender got unplugged once and battery died after 2 weeks, and was I locked out.

The battery will be too low to start, but probably have enough juice to unlock the car. That's how my car was this winter, anyways.

I keep the battery cover removed for this purpose.

Nice to keep it trickle charged. But the container its stored in has no immediate access to a power outlet.

Post #2 mentioned a portable battery charger. Seems this would be your best bet or if you can push the car out of the container and jump start it from another vehicle.

Take battery out and store at home on a tender.

All good. Thanks for your input. Storage manager tells me fired her up after 6 to 8 weeks.
Today started, remote fobs working no issues.
