I'm having an issue playing music from my USB drive (my car is a GT premium with nav, so I can't use the SD slot). I previously loaded a USB drive in with music that was working fine, outside of some album art not showing. Today I took it out to add some more music to it, as well as try to reload the albums that were missing the artwork. When I play from the USB now, I get duplicates of every album that I reloaded to try to fix the artwork, and I don't know how to get the duplicates to go away. When I put the USB drive in the computer, there is only one folder for each of these albums, but when I put it back in the car and it gets indexed, the car thinks there are multiple. Anyone else had this issue? Any suggestions on how to fix are greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

I'd just do a Master Reset to erase the index.
Thanks for the help! I actually did that and it didn't work, but I figured out what was wrong. For some reason, files that I had put in the trash were somehow being read by the system. I cleaned out the trash and it fixed the problem. Weird.

That's extremely weird. I swear, MFT sometimes appears to run not by 1's and 0's but by black magic.

USB music

After several attempts I discovered that loading the music directly to the USB root directory did the trick. No individual folders, no playlists, just the songs themselves. Evidently the album name, artist's name, track number are all included. I put the USB in the car, indexed it and there they were.
