Help with Removing Interior Panels

Has anyone tried removing the leather styled panels that are directly in front of the driver and passenger side? A friend of mine is trying to wrap these panels with suede.

I attached a picture of what I am talking about.

Seems like it could be possible to remove but just need to remove the plastic panels in the middle of it first.

I don't think those panels are removable, unless you take out the entire dash. While I was installing my 8" Sintegrate unit, I removed the center speaker trim piece and it looked like those trim piece were part of the dash.

I could be wrong though, looking at the parts fiche catalog, it doesn't seem to be one piece with the dash.

They're not removable. Ask all the guys with the premier trim what happens when those panels start to bubble.
