Wrap Interior Door panels?

Has anyone done this? If so what material is recommended? Will it stick to the plastic doors pretty well? Just trying to protect the door from scuff marks when getting in n out of the car. I was looking at a carbon fiber wrap or maybe a white carbon fiber, but then I would have to wrap the center console to match it

Seeing as how the door panel is textured, adhesion from vinyl backing won't be ideal, but it'll stick. It won't look go though. You could get something like this if you don't find it too hideous looking: https://www.rpidesigns.com/shop/item.aspx?itemid=5125
