Yeah that'd be great! I just wanna see a startup and normal and heavy drive by at normal operating temp(cold starts alter reality sound). Usually everything is all rasp and not much burble/grumble but I saw a video of magnaflow comps with kooks and it sounded amazing!

I feel that Long Tubes with the magnaflow street series would be the best day to day combo and might even produce the best/ cleanest sound. Just my .02.

Does anyone have this setup? ^^^

the quieter systems are going to be the mbrp street, magnaflow street, borla touring

if your not wanting to get too crazy, I think those are the best options to mate with headers if you don't want "too loud"

Or if it's too loud for you, just have some Dynomax bullets welded in somewhere before or after the x/h pipe. That is what i plan to do if i dont like the sound, once paired with my Gibson.

I like how the magnaflow comp sounds with headers. Deeper than other also with the power of headers. I might just do it soon. I hope it sounds full and not empty like how i've heard on other setups...gibson... (hard to explain)

I have yet to hear any header + Gibson catback setups. If you indeed have, could you share a link or tell me where it was? I'd love to hear a sample before making my decision. Thanks!

No I just heard a gibson catback from many vids and it sounded empty to me. Magnaflow sounded much tighter.

Hmm. Not quite sure how you mean. Gibson is one of the deepest sounding cbe I've heard. As far as an x pipe goes, at least.

DUDE. Paul told me they were "for sure" shipping out this week. Most likely Wednesday. I'm not holding my breathe. Apparently Forgestar really dropped the ball on a bunch of orders. The GM of N4SM is going to meet with them. :frusty:

a hypothetical setup would be headers + MRT H pipe + active roush axle back, so you can have much greater control of the exhaust tone suiting your mood. Frankenstein system and no idea how it would sound like

That would also have to be one of the most expensive routes one could take lol. I bet it'd be rowdy tho.

active exhaust is a great idea for a V8. Make it silent then violent whenever you want and you have the quad look. Now the cost is another issue...
