R - put pads on wrong first time. Got new ones and want to make sure I do it right, can’t “look at the OEM pads for reference”
Can anyone send me a diagram or explain details on which pad goes on what side. I got some EBC yellow stuff and installed across all four wheels along with some power stop rotors. I’m no season mechanic but I like doing stuff here and there but it was late at night and i was tired and when I got done I broke them in but was hearing a loud squeal out of the front passenger, I thought maybe they’re performance pads they’ll make noise for a minute. I put a couple hundred and still there so I took it to a shop and they said that I had put them on backwards (that’s as far as they went and I thought they fixed it.). When I went to get it they said I had ruined the pads and need to get new ones with warrant so I did. I would just like to know which is where because I don’t know if the shop put them in the right spot or left them so when I redo it I don’t know if I should just mirror it. I’d rather be safe than sorry and have a diagram, video or description but I can’t find one on the internet for the 4 piston base GT calipers. Sorry for the long post for a noob question and thanks in advance.
