Help with dates.

Hey everybody, this is my first post on the forum. I am currently driving a 1999 Convertible but I just ordered a 2015 competition orange v6. I ordered it Monday so when do y'all think my build date will be? Thanks, Tyler

Maybe dec or jan build date if your lucky. Was your order stock or retail. Check you VOC from the dealer if Priority #1-19 retail 20-above stock. Good luck:ford:

Tell your dealer you want it bumped to priority 20.

I kind of assumed it was stock because it's 80 currently, but I guess it could be retail and also 80. So, if it's dealer stock, ask for priority 20. If it's retail, as for priority 10.

Yes I did get the 051a package and it says stock on my paper my dealer gave me and has the number 80.

Very nice, the 51A makes all the difference. Maybe it was just a place holder for some reason. You should ask about it anyway, yeah with stock 20 is the highest priority.

ummm... my VOC said priority 99 and i am awaiting shipment. My guess is that his is going to get a build date toward the middle / end of November.. depending on every variable up to and including the changing gravitational pull of the earth and when the full moon lands in November.

It may have been 99 when you initially placed your ordered but unbeknownst to you it was changed sometime between then and the time it was scheduled. A 99 priority won't be pulled, dealers use them to save an ordered in the system when they aren't ready to fully place it yet.

I just checked cotus and I got my vin. So that's good news, how long does it take after you get a vin number?

You'll just have to call your dealer every week or so and ask to see if you got your build date, once he tells you your build date, the car moves into production 7 days prior to that build date. After that you might aswell just track it on COTUS.

I have had one for a month and still not in production, the last info I got before sorce data was taken away was 10/27 build date.
