Looking for user feedback on the following suspension components and suspension combinations.
1. Steeda Ultralites (linear) w/Ford Racing Shocks and Struts.
2. Steeda Ultralites (linear) w/Steeda Pro Action Shocks and Struts.
3. BMR Performance (SP080) w/Steeda Pro Action OR Ford Racing.

Steeda or MM camber plates are certainly in order for proper alignment, but what other components should I consider replacing without going down the rabbit hole.

My budget is 1K. This is my DD. Goal is to eliminate the wheel gap (obviously) and enhance handling and road connectivity. No plans to track.

Thank you for your input.

2019 PP1 ... I went with the BMR min drop springs and for me it did exactly what I wanted it to do... get rid of the gap. I didn’t go with the SP080 because I didn’t want the rake look. I used the factory PP1 shocks for now. A lot of people use the FP shocks/struts with the BMR SP083 with good results. Don’t remember the camber setting but I did not use bolts or CC plates. The min drop springs are close to the factory PP1 in rate but I feel that it drives and rides better than with the factory springs. I don’t have any experience with steeda but there is a lot of info on both Steeda and BMR. While installing the springs I did BMR CB010 cradle lockouts and have since installed the BMR 4 pt front brace... no complaints at all. I would definitely recommend the CB010 or CB005 when doing springs.

Greatly appreciate the feedback.
After some additional research and speaking with a few vendors, I’m leaning towards the following:

BMR SP083 Handling Springs
Ford Racing Shocks and Struts
BMR Cradle Lockout Kit
BMR Camber Bolts

OP, you stated you don’t track the car, you use the Mustang as a DD, and want better handling and a decent drop. The setup listed above is essentially the OEM GT350R’s kit, which is fine, especially if you track and DD, but understand what you’re getting into ride frequency wise.

Many are happy with it, but for prospective I’ve run Ultralites for years, which are a touch softer than the SP083s, and they are on the stiff side for me. I’ll be going softer in the very near future because the handling benefits just aren’t as important as a smooth(er) ride anymore.

Food for thought.

Thank you Roadway 5.0.
From my research, I’ve come across several threads where you have provided your feedback. I value your opinion on this topic.
I won’t pull the trigger on any purchase until I’m certain on setup.
Back to weighing the options...

I would give consideration to the BMR minimum drop springs as well. The spring rates are nowhere near as stiff as the SP083 springs but stiffer than stock. For a daily driver I would say the SP763 is going to be a real winner and the SP083 is going to be too much for the street. I have the 763's sitting in my shopping cart for my spring upgrades and they will work extremely well with the Ford Perf Track dampers.

OEM Front 160 / Rear 688
SP763 Front 170 / Rear 740
SP083 Front 250 / Rear 980

Something to help compare (although not up to date) Spring Rates Spreadsheet

I went with the FRPP Track kit. This is the way the car should have been from the factory. A tad stiffer than a PP1 but much better control especially in mid corner control with undulations. Only lowered my car .875" front and .75" rear. I liked the fact its still Ford branded.

Stangtime, thank you for your input the the Google doc. The data will help me make an informed decision. Steeda Ultralites are looking like a solid middle ground, but the drop in the front may be too much.

Dave, your stance is phenomenal and I’m thrilled to hear you’re enjoying the Track Kit. That comes with progressive springs, correct? For what I’m looking for, I’m leaning towards linear springs for overall predictability.

Tristan I like the FR struts/shocks over the Steedas.

The FRPP X “street” and Y “track” springs are linear. They have a helper portion that gives the rear springs a progressive appearance, but the usable spring is linear.

Hear it from the engineer who designed them (at 2:00):

Dave, would you mind measuring the height from the ground to the fenders on your car? I do like the stance. I have the same wheels and running the same 275/40R19 tire size so wanted to replicate it. I just got my Bilstein B16s, but it seems to be way too low, so may need to get some spacers.

Will do, won't be until tonight. I am running 275/35/19 front and 295/35/19 rear.

StangTime definitely helped me make an informed decision. After reevaluating what’s most important, I’m leaning towards BMR’s minimal drop springs. I’ll obtain the same drop as the handling springs and retain a similar ride quality.
Thank you for everyone’s input.

The Track kit is what the GT350 was based on without the Magnaride. If I recall the fronts are linear while the rears linear with helper part as it uses a big rear bar. The front spring rates are over 240 if I recall.
