Hello fellow Mustang owners,

Today I decided to change to pp gauge cluster since EURO cars dont have access too…

I needed to hardwire for the gauges, and I used normal electricity wires? Since I thought it would work right. Now everything put together. I have a big problem, first I got the message: “vehicle communication error”. And now I can start the car but everything is Blank my Sync 3 and cluster…

The gauges light up, but dont show any data on it, also not on start…

What did

Without any knowledge of the process I'd guess that you cut something you shouldn't, tapped into something you shouldn't or grounded something you shouldn't. Or perhaps the guages/wiring you added has changed some value the computer is expecting to see. CAN systems can be picky about what they expect.
I would suggest two options.
Restore it to stock and see if it works.
Or.
Start an intensive search for someone who has done this and start a one-on-one conversation to see if they can help.
An open fourm like this will be hit or miss finding someone with the specific knowledge and experience to help.

I have now solved it. I will describe it as best as possible: eventually I discovered that my own electronic wire was bridging the wire of the wiring harness and that may have caused a bridging failure. I have now removed the bridge and reconnected it. Now everything works properly - the oil pressure, but I am now going to find out whether this can be switched on via forscan?
