Help.....Rear end vibration under load

What's up guys. I am having an issue where if I am turning a sharp right my rear right tire seems like it's hopping or vibrating. It does it at almost any speed and is noticeably different if I turn left compared to right. I have tried turning off the traction control and advance trac but it makes no difference. To me if feels like the diff isn't working properly.

any thoughts or suggestions?

Or the diff is working properly. Do you have Torsen? I heard they lock up pretty early.

No, its not a torsen.... I have the 3.55 gears non perf pack.

Something else to throw in is that this hasn't always been the case it started doing it about a 3 months ago. The car only has 2800 miles

Yes, it is much more noticeable when it's wet out.

probably just haul it to the dealership and have a mechanic give it a going over.

It makes sense that it does it on wet road. The lsd on op's car is just tight enough that when the tire is on wet, the tire breaks traction. And when the tire is on dry road, the lsd works properly. I think the service dept. should check it out and at least change the fluid and make sure friction modifier is used.

2 cents... Are you running summer tires? What has your temperatures been? My car was doing something very similar once the temperature dropped here in NC.

Replaced tires with Conti DWS06 and hopping has stopped.

The base mustang i drove last month (Seattle area) was really smooth. I also tested a PP GT and you could really feel the tires scrub when cold and in a tighter turn. Does it hop all the time or very often? Usually hopping is something common with lockers and the stored energy being released in the drivetrain. Sounds like a LSD problem

Yes, it's all the time when turning a tight right unless I baby it around the turn. Just more noticeable when wet(all the time here in seattle, as you know lol). I have aftermarket suspension work so I'm try to rule out anything I could do before taking it to the dealership(bowen scarf in kent, wa) and having them possibly void the warranty

Nah I still have the all season perrellis on it. The Temps have dropped to around 40 or so and it rains all the time here in winter, but this happens when it's dry as well.

I really doubt aftermarket suspension would mess up warranty on LSD. That's a rather simple device. Take it to the dealer, and if its LSD problem, and they deny, thank them for their time, and take it to another dealer. If you get denied again, then maybe just put an aftermarket LSD. They aren't too expensive. Or investigate an open diff. Even cheaper. I opened a thread on that, although it got a bunch of thumbs down even though most everyone in an F150 5.0 is mostly rolling around with an open diff and as far as I know, they aren't losing traction every time they touch the gas peddle.

Most likely it needs a little more friction modifier additive. Either way, dealer should be able to take care of you.

Is your car lowered? If so, that will change the CV axle angles, which can cause binding that will be noticeable especially while turning.

Also, are you running summer tires? Anything below about 45 degrees will cause summer tires to skip across the pavement in turns. They specifically state that they should not be used in low temperatures.
