    Gang,

I need your help here and would love to have your eyes help me pick the closest match. I would like to powder coat the reverse lockout on the shifter to our DHG colour, but unfortunately I am having a very hard time in picking the right colour as there are so many variations of the dark green pigment. Since my eyes aren't what they used to be anymore, I am having some difficulty matching the colour. I would appreciate having your help in this by looking at the colours using this site.

    https://www.prismaticpowders.com/shop/powder-coating-colors?color=pris_green

Let me know what paint codes you think would be the best match.

    Thanks again!

Man, that list never ends. Ha ha. But I searched like 60, and the best match IMO is 'illusion green'. But it's hard to judge without a car sample next to it. At any rate, I rather have it a bit darker than lighter, and my choice reflected that. Hope it helps.

Illusion Green probably the closest to DHG BUT inside the cabin it may look dark and close to black so a lighter colour like maybe Hunter Green could actually look closer and more “ green”.

I would say Illusion Green is the closest to the DHG. However, the DHG can be kind of dark inside the car. If you want to make sure it doesn't look black the Ultra Illusion Green might be a good pick also.

    Thanks Gang,

so I have 3 votes for illusion green, 1 vote for hunter green and a possible ultra illusion green, it seems the illusion green would be the best choice, however nms_1122 made a valid point to go for the ultra illusion green and somewhat agree. What do you guys think? This would the final word on this before I start the project

Same same as what I suggested. Just a lighter green than DHG in the cabin so will be more visible.

I don’t do mods and any I did make would be as sombre as possible so I’d stick with illusion, it must be an age thing, if you want bling then Ultra illusion will be more noticeable, I hope we'll be rewarded with pictures when this project is complete?

I also don't agree with a lighter shade. I'd just add to the green stitching a little, but no way I'd more contrast with a lighter green, but that's just me. Post pictures when it's all said and done :).
