I have a Procharged V6 (415whp) at 3600lbs with the 3.15 gears with base GT brakes. I like the 200tw tires like the RS3 or Direzza as I prefer to drive on them to the track. This is just for HPDE, no rules. I'm thinking a 18x10 and a 285/35/18 RS3 but I'm open to suggestions. I prefer black wheels for track. I really like the M350 black wheels but they only make them in 19". Cost is biggest consideration, and weight is second. Thanks.

Sub'd to see what others say on this topic...

My car is a bit different, but also will be doing HPDE, occasional street miles for fun, and autocrossing. That last one is the kicker...hard to find excellent autocross tires that can do the other two well without overheating, excessive wear, etc.

From my research, Bridgeston RE11 seems to bridge the gap between street/autox/hpde the best.

I think I am going to go with Michelin Pilot Super Sport though since it is my daily driver and will probably see the road course for HPDE maybe 6 weekends out of the year. I like that the MPSS is lighter and tread wear is much higher. Looking at the M350 wheels in 19x10 all around with 285/35 MPSS.

Hard to beat Forgestar for weight and price.

For tires RE71R is top dog right now but they're not really a dual duty tire so you'd want them for just the track. For dual duty RE11's for slightly more track oriented or MPSS's for slightly more street oriented.

What suspension mods do you have? Plan on doing? You could probably get away with some 18x9.5 wheels to make it lighter. But I've heard good things about those apex 18x10 also.

If cost is your number one concern go with Apex, probably the best bang for your buck track oriented wheel you can buy
