I've owned several high-end wheels over the years (Volks, HRE, Forgeline, etc) and someone told me to try the Apex wheel as a track wheel for the Mustang. Apex has a large following in the BMW community and they fairly recently made a Mustang-specific size. Quality is VERY good with zero flaws noted. Weight is great for the size.

Nice find, if these are lighter than cf5s and they offer them in a wider setup I may use these if I ever get a track only setup.

Well there you go. ;-)

I haven't even checked yet.....are the lug holes 12mm or 14mm? I had planned on some Cortex Racing (ARP) wheel stud conversions.

I have 295/40/18's to try out. Apex says you need a 5mm spacer in the front to clear. I'm waiting for the TPMS to arrive before I mount the tires. Pfadt coilovers should be here on Thursday and MM camber plates are here. If the planets align, I might have a little time this weekend to put them on.

I'm familiar with apex wheels for the bmw e36 m3. greta track options!

Are they available in 19" for the mustang?
18" is the sweet spot for price weight and performance. 19 looks cool n all but sidewall actually plays a function in allowing compliance. Example: sidewall allows more camber in rear for cornering but without cannibalizing straight line footprint to a soon roasted narrow inside sliver.
Heck, the only 19 race tires from Michelin are $$$$$ ferrari:

Notice the 18" selection.

Apex has a strong grass roots following in setting up group buys. Ie We could all go in together and design an 18x10.5 ET 35 and call TSW and get it flow formed/forged barrel...
..or just call Ryan at Apex and let him deal with mfg and get us more sweet ec7 Mustang wheels.

If these are forged barrels and below $300.. :headbang:

I hear ya, 18" is the way to go when running race compounds on the track. I just meant 19" for a street setup :headbonk:

yea the 18s can look undersized on the street. They wont snicker at you for long when they clip a wall in a clover leaf after the low pro rubber bands give up massive slip angle on the first expansion joint taken at the limit...
Maybe get both? Win!
