Koons is having some amazing deals on a mustang and it's close enough to the current value of my car that I might pull the trigger.

I just don't understand why that black one is 1.5K cheaper...

Is it worth getting right now?? Or should I wait it out and order a 2016 with X-Plan??
If you can wait and those cars aren't exactly what you want in terms of options, I would say order a 2016, you may be able to do better than x-plan with any negotiation skills.

If those fit what you want then I say go for one of them.

In terms of the price differences, I can't really tell but I assume the red one has additional options possibly?

Equipment package 051A accounts for $995 of it.

According to www.cotus.ford.com the black one was delivered on 04/20/2015. So it's been sitting for a couple of months.

Happy Shopping

WOW prices include current manufacturer rebates and factory incentives, some of which may require financing through the manufacturer and are therefore subject to credit approval. Additional factory rebates from certain manufacturers, such as first time buyers, recent college graduates, veterans and/or active members of the military, owners of competitive makes, loyalty rebates etc, may be available. WOW pricing may not be compatible with special factory financing. WOW prices are valid based on manufacturer incentive program time periods.
We make every effort to provide accurate information, but please verify options and price before purchasing. All vehicles are subject to prior sale. All prices are special internet prices only. All financing is subject to approved credit. All new vehicle prices exclude freight. Tax, tags, and processing fee of $599 in Virginia additional.
If you're expecting that the price you pay will be anything remotely close to the "WOW price" I'm afraid you are in for a very unpleasant surprise.

You're out the door price will be roughly $2,000 higher than the wow price. And if you want a V-6 you might as well pull the trigger on one of those because I'm not positive but I don't know if the base stereo is going to change at all for 2016.

Considering that the WOW price includes a bunch of rebates he isnt likely to qualify for, doesnt include freight, processing (599 in VA), taxes or tags, 22k is also a pipe dream. X plan on a 051a is roughly 24,700 on similarly equipped vehicles. But 2 grand is about right to cover taxes tags and fees over the sale price, yeah.
