So my .02

I bought the Sports with the full intention of getting long-tubes. With just the cat-back the cold start wasn't very loud. I could hear it, but it wasn't so obnoxious that anyone complained. The great thing about the Sports is you can cruise around town and never even know you had an exhaust until you roll into the throttle.

Now that I have my LTs installed, it's a different story. Cold start is quite a bit louder, so much so that I try not to sit in the driveway too long. And cruising at 2K RPM you can tell there's an exhaust but it's not super loud...but certainly louder than without the LTs.

Hope this helps you.
Its weird how loud these are with the mufflers being a decent size. But to be fair I reckon corsa doesnt tune the sound with the current systems for long tubes. Maybe they will come out with one.

I'm running a catless/xtreme set-up and go to work 3-4x/week at around 05:30am. Thus far, the neighbors haven't complained. I start her up and let her warm up in the garage with the door cracked open ever so slightly while I'm still in the house. It's loud as hell, but I'm short-shifting leaving the neighborhood anyways. No point in racing out at 5am. Once I'm out of the neighborhood and onto the main roads though, it's a different story. 1st-4th WOT on the highway with the windows down and I don't need caffeine anymore.
Yeah with my super 10s, and soon to be corsa extreme, I pretty much just idle out of the parking lot in my apt complex. Then try and keep off the gas period to coast completely out.

I need for hypermotive to hurry up and get my system in stock ... lol its been less than 24 hours since I ordered. Luckily I am close enough for them to install it for me.

Installed the extremes with black tips. Holy crap its awesome. Can't help but get a huge smile on my face when hearing it. Very happy that I went with this setup. Its loud, but I love it. Maybe not as loud as I had worried, but I'm used to driving an older car where the insulation isn't as good as these newer cars. So I'm sure this is louder, but sounds quieter within the car. Its amazing how this things wakes up and the tone changes when getting above 3k rpm. It screams. I kept seeing guys comment that videos don't do it justice and they really don't.

I got my car on April 1st and went through the same thing as the OP. It came down to Borla or Corsa, then chose the latter. Then Extreme or Sport?

I chose the Sport cat-back after I read a comment about future mods. If you plan on adding headers or modding the motor or forced induction, then avoid the Extremes. You'll basically feel like you're driving a Nascar.

I just added the Steeda CAI with tube. I will be installing long tubes and a catted mid-pipe, and possibly an intake. Supercharger is a thought, but a couple years off.

That being said, the Sports are pretty loud. They turn heads. They burble at idle, they pop at shifts, and there is a healthy rasp. When you get on it, it comes alive and screams. It's a beautiful sound.

Cold starts are louder than stock, but not bad. Neighborhood driving is controllable by keeping rpms under 2500. Highway driving is the same thing. They're pretty quiet under 2500 rpm/70 mph. I have the performances package with 3.73 rear, so it can wind up pretty quick. Driving at 80 you'll hear it, but turn the radio up a little and you're good. No headache inducing drone at all.

Unless you have to be the loudest car on the road, the Sport will give you plenty of rumble with negligible power difference. I think you'd be satisfied. I know I am.

It's not too much. You can keep it tame
Everyone, including myself, has had second thoughts about whether or not the extreme was gonna be too loud, after seeing your videos man. I thought I was in the clear til I saw the orange5.0. I just ordered my extremes, so let's hope it's controllable haha

I also have the Extreme's. The neighbors house is about 15' from from garage. On cold start up's i start the car and after a few seconds i start driving really slow to not aggravate the neighbors and it quiets right down. I drive up the street to an empty lot and let it warm up and i'm good. So far i haven't had any complaints from the neighbors. If i ever get long tube's i will probably switch out the Extreme axle back's for the sport axle back's.
