#1 would be AG with black roof, no stripes. Imo white stripes don't looked good with the black wheels. I have a magnetic track pack I bought off the showroom and didn't order it myself. If I was spec'ing the car to my choice it would be AG with black roof or the new ruby red with black roof, I like the black stripes but since you are not able to get the red pinstripes unless you buy an R, I would skip the stripes

I concur. AG, black roof, no stripes is how I ordered my 2017. I'm sort of reconsidering the stripes at the moment... but will most likely stick with my build without them. However if the red pin stripes from the R were available I would order the AG with white/red pin stripes.

I waffled on the AG for a while after seeing all the pics... it doesn't photograph too well. I finally got to see it in person last week though and I definitely dug it - 100% set on the AG.

AG with white...all day long....[/QUOTE

Gorgeous! These kinda pics are what made me fall in love with AG to begin with :D

How are you finding the colour under different lighting though? Are you ever unhappy with how it looks, particularly under bright sunlight or in the evening under direct sunlight? Does it become as dark in person as pictures would make it appear?

Looks great under any light. Under bright sunlight it has a very light, creamy gray look...unlike anything else around. I would never call it dark, under any light. As with anything, you really have to see it in person to appreciate it.

I saw an AG in the Cincinnati area a month ago. It is a beautiful color especially in the sunlight.

If you photograph the car, you should have something that has a pure white color in the picture so a good camera can adjust light levels/colors properly. Otherwise, most cameras will use the AG as the "white" in the picture and the AG color will not show up well.

I saw AG with white once on a bright sunny day. It looked like a cream color, especially against the white stripes. I suggest you try to see that color in different lighting conditions. I personally couldn't stand it, and before that, I didnt think there could be a bad color on the GT350.

This is also what I ordered.

Here you go to compare & contrast via daylight pic- AG next to OW... best to see live w/ your own eyeballs but you get the gist:

Absolutely. Thats why I said personally, and for him to try to see it himself.
Unfortunately there's been only one AG car sold here, and it came with black stripes. I only had a chance to see it in the showroom and not outside under natural lighting, so chances are slim that I'll ever see it, with no chance of ever seeing an AG with white stripes in person :(

Bossing man, appreciate all the pictures! I've followed your journey thread and love all of the shots you have in there.

Question for you though, in these pictures that illustrate the AG next to the OW, have you edited these to increase contrast or any other way? Are they edited to really make the Colors pop or are they realistic illustrations of what the Colors truly look like?

I'm going to attempt to attach a picture that I took from your thread, if successful it will show a picture where I noticed your AG car to look very dark in comparison to the OW beside it. Is that just the camera playing tricks or is that truly how the colour looks under that light?

When you say it has a creamy look to it, I immediately think of off white with a tinge of yellow to it, is this what you mean? If you look at the last two pictures I posted that I took from Bossing's thread, you can see that the AG looks much darker, with almost a taupe or yellow tinge mixed into the grey.

Is this the camera playing tricks or is that a true representation of how the colour looks under evening light?

Would love to find that it is just the cameras; I Love the look of AG when it appears as a very cool light grey, almost a white with silver or grey mixed in. Definitely a little concerned about the semi yellowish tinge that can be seen in those pictures I posted though.

Who knew choosing a colour for a car could be so stressful :D

It's the lighting whether natural or artificial.... no edits. Shades and time of day also play a part. Seeing in person is really the best... just use pics as a gauge/feeler.

White is white and AG has that light pastel hue. IMO you can't go wrong with OW nor AG. If I went the OW route, I'd pair it with LB stripes but that's me.

I really dislike the blue stripes, but most other combinations look good to me. I also think the car looks better with a black roof and no stripes than it does with stripes.

Really wish I could see the AG in person under some different lighting, cons of living in small province :(

OW with LB stripes is still on the table, just having a very hard time deciding. The engineer side of my brain wants to, almost needs to, make the "right" decision, whereas my heart knows there is no "right" choice.

Normally, I would be 100% with you for any other type of sports car, be it an M3, Corvette, etc.

I just feel that with the GT350 that the stripes are almost required to squarely and obviously differentiate it from the lower models. The fact that you can order a 5.0 for example in white with a black roof bugs me too much; if I'm spending this much on a car, I want at least one very unique feature that instantly identifies it as being special when compared to normal models.
