Morning All,

If there is an Mustang Ecoboost owner based around the Derbyshire area that would be interested in a performance exhaust for free please drop me a PM.

Also interested to hear what owners of the Ecoboost model would be looking for in a performance exhaust for their car?

I'm not sure if there's much performance to be extracted from an exhaust on the Ecoboost, at least not without pairing it with a CAI & tune.

Personally i'm thinking of getting a Magnaflow Competition catback, purely because i want a much deeper tone from the car. The magnaflow ticks those boxes.

SteveP i'll take it off your hands - when mine comes

Performance wise, i'd personally take whatever come, as Big_G said I don't think you can get much from the exhaust on it's own. But i'm no engineer, at all. It'd be looks and sound alone for me (Anything that gets it close to V8 noise, or adds pops and snaps, with a 'burnt' exhaust tip, is my preference)

Deeply impressive I have to say. I'm quite lucky that through work I get to experience high-power rear drive cars fairly regularly, and to be honest it's feels right up there with them dynamically. Sure the theatre of the v8 rumble is missing, but the I4 has it's own charm. Although coming from a Fiesta then Focus ST I've grown to love the raspy noise they throw out anyway.

Haven't thrashed it properly yet, only 500 miles in coupled with constant wet weather (and a lively rear end as you well know)!! But, I can very much believe it's 0-60 is under 6 (looking forward to the first run with the TrackApp!). And using it in a mix of standing traffic and motorway driving it's returning about 26mpg. So win win all round!!

Assuming you're loving the v8?
