This may be where I don't make sense a bit. I have what I feel is a pretty irrational appreciation for independent suspension and I just don't care for the looks of any Mustangs before the new one. The dealer I ordered mine from has had a loaded 2014 Premium GT on the lot for more than 6 months now that I could pick up for less than my base GT but I just can't swallow the looks. I'd absolutely love a 64-69 but I've had a muscle car so now I just want something more refined and reliable. If you're going to dump it, why not find a used B302 or something? At least you wouldn't eat as much for depreciation and you'd have a fun drive in the mean time.
Oh, I will always have my H1; I love it more than anything I've ever had, but I feel the need for something more comfortable. I like to take road trips and go for drives and it just isn't the vehicle for it! Although, snowstorms in the winter are an absolute blast!!Who cares if you drive a truck for another year?
...what's another month or so in the grand scheme of things?
...will the bad taste ever leave your mouth? You have had a terrible experience thus far; will you ever look at the car without seeing a ton of flaws?
And I can agree. The reality of it is 3 more weeks is not terrible and I'm sure it would be a lot easier with some mediocre customer service. Hell, I got off the phone with customer service yesterday afternoon again after I was told I can't get another coupon and that my car was "surely set for a Dec 31st delivery," only to receive more disappointment today.
I know I will dread ever ordering a car again. Surely it won't be from Ford and if I opt to order a C7, I will place the order at least 4 months before I return to the States, just hope Chevrolet's process is a bit better...I am told 6-14 weeks. I feel like I'll still be able to enjoy my car plenty, but I certainly won't be able to recommend it to anyone and I won't hesitate talking about my experience...that is if mine does, indeed, show up with out a ton of miles, panel fitment issues, or any other problems.
Thanks for sharing all of your ideas
