Welcome, Phil!

Post absolutely in the right place, congrats on the order! Look forward to seeing the photos

Have done black out badges myself, a great mod. First thought is always Nemesis UK when it comes to parts.

It's been a few years, struggling to remember - but I think I purchased an OEM deck lid from the states, then added a gloss black GT black badge to it. Fit was perfect.

I know of others though that have the MP concepts panel, and no issues as far as I'm aware.

Reminds me - the black GT badge I have has started to lose its gloss black paint, starting to peel off :( been on there a good 6 years though so can't complain!

That's my plan too. Great minds think alike 😉
The GT letters are so much better looking than what we get in the UK with the big round false petrol flap.

Welcome :like:

There are a few members on here from around the Lancashire area ... :like:

There is a (£3 charity donation) free meet on the first Sunday of the month (pending a clash with other big shoes) at Barton / City airport near the Trafford Centre.

There are a few other members on here that go regularly :

My black badges came direct from Ford - They were actually cheaper than the online vendors :like:

Thanks for the welcome and details of the show. I was speaking to a neighbour of mine who has a GT and he said there is a bit of a meet up at an American Diner near Garstang called Billy Bob's. I wonder if anyone here is aware/been to?

Blck badges is obviously a must have on every owners list ha ha

I've been to Billy Bobs for food (and kids play) a few times, but never for a car meet.

Food is really good (if you like American Diner style food), but not good if you are on a diet, especially so if you start on the shakes and ice creams etc ... :giggle:

I will be honest, I have picked up a few negative comments about the car meets there (from two separate people). One reported it was a tough (critical) crowd who were quite vocal with negative comments, and the other who came back to their car to find kids sat in it whilst dad took photos ... !

Broad shoulders fixes one issue, sitting / standing by your car, or sharing watch with someone you trust would fix the other :like:

Edit - Should have added if you are up that way, Cleveleys car show had it's fair share of mustangs (old and new) last year :like:

I know Cleveleys very well. Just a few miles from me. My Sister also has a Motor Shop and they usually have a stand there every year. I am trying to blag her to let my car be on her pitch and let her detailing crew go at it for the day. I get to see the cars and then come back to a perfectly polished and waxed car too. Happy days ha ha

I'm not sure I will make it this year otherwise I would have come and said hello - Ironman is earlier than normal and clashes, we normally go and support as for the last 10 years, there hasn't been a year where I've had less than two friends or family on it :like:

Just keep away from the froth on the front ... lol (last year) :

OK a few years ago now, but even at the time, they were well under half of the cost of the non official Ford online retailers - At the time, I even considered buying more and putting them on ebay ... lol

I don't know if the 2025 badges are the same fitment, but as a comparison on cost (from the latest 2025 price list) :

That is amazing. Thank you so much. And so cheap! They are all for S550 (Mk6) yeah?

They are all a bit dearer now bit not by much. The 5.0 ones I can get from ford's official Ebay shop a little cheaper than ehat my local fors dealership quoted (basically don't pay VAT) the prancing horse is a lot cheaper than I could find anywhere else so placed my order. Thanks again. Very helpful, and why forums exist. You are a ⭐

The invoice photo is what I bought and fitted to my 2020 S550.

The price list screenshot is for the S650 (I’m not sure if they share the same badges), but I included it just to show that the dealer / Ford pricing is ‘competitive’ (at least for these items) :like:

That's reminded me. Lowering springs...

Before Ford offered the Eibach springs in a UK flavour, for £150, the next alternative was to import from the US for about double the price. Bargain @ £150

Highly recommended as a mod if not already complete, don't forget the spacers too!
