I am going to be installing my low mount kit soon with the boost leash. Hellion recommended mounting solenoids in inner fender. I am going to weld a 1/8 spy bung in charge tube for boost reference. I am also going with a CO2 setup. I am trying to decide what type of lines to run as well. I think I am going with 4an braided ptfe between lower gate port and turbo. I might run nylon push lock on the rest. Did you buy the kit that was listed on forum recently for 4500? I am curious how rough the install is on top mount kit.

No I went ahead and bought it new to many what ifs with a used kit just didn’t wanna take the risk, I’m installing it now and it doesn’t seem to bad, I just need some guidance in the eboost2 on how to plumb it, I’m taking my time on the install maybe a couple weekend hopefully

I mounted the selenoids in the fenders. I have fore vacuum /boost block running off the manifold. I used regular vacuum type lines between the wastegates, selonoids, vacuum block. Been running like this for two years with no issues. I did wrap all the lines with same heat wrap used to protect the wires. Used it any area that was even close to heat. Have run many hour plus trips to and from the track with absolutely no signs of heat affecting anything.

Have the eboost two as well.

Do you have any pictures of where they are mounted?

That’s the way I hooked mine up with the exception I went to vacuum/boost block as opposed to the compressor. Had it off the compressor and can’t remmeber why I moved it.

Hey Dennisn would you be able to draw up nothin professional by any means but how you got your routing on paper showing where and how you got yours routed I like how you have the vacuum block incorporated and wanted to copy your setup looks much cleaner imo

It is early and I am slow but where is the line that goes back to your boost controller so it knows what the car is doing?
That’s just a line coming off manifold same as you’d have going to a boost gauge.(mine goes to vac/boost block). needs to see vac/boost for readings only. The duty cycle controls the boost.

That is what I was wondering. The boost leash recommends a boost only source before throttle body for the MAP sensor that controls boost.
