Didn't he claim to have like two or three cars ordered?... One for his kids to beat around in? I think that's how it went...

Low class dude here. People are chomping at the bits just to find a car to order at MSRP or at a decent ADM and this dude comes in and "toots his horn" about a below MSRP deal. Lol. As a great football announcer once said, "You make the call."
I worked just as hard if not harder to obtain my deals....Since the rumors first came out about the car ...before the dealers even knew there was such thing as a Flat Plane Crank. Back in 2013 when the Wheels were hinted at by Carbon Revolution. So, yeah I would get 2. That's two one for DD and one for weekend Track Duty. Then hand the keys to my older GT to my son. Because that's what dads do. Its what my dad did for me after we built my first Stang. And coming from a family business where the customer relationship was built on honesty and the pride of the work we do there was no need for me to settle for anything less than how I was raised to expect the same.

Chomp away. But, many of you started your hunt...well after the fact and when the rumors had long become a reality. So if I toot my horn....like DONSON has even said before....just be happy. I'm not greedy, neither are my dealers.....and since I happen to not like the marketing gimmick behind the "R" and have already passed on one.... the G6 member who will not be mentioned that messaged me to get in on that possible "R" gets lucky..and he'll likely get it FOR MSRP!!!!

my deposits are in...my receipt is in hand.... and I await the rest to just fall in place.

I would like to make a call.....

I might be standing in a picture with 3 GT350's. Including my GT Premium, my 2 GT350's, a Tech and a TP, shaking hands with a buddy who went for the "R" I negotiated for...and of course my 3 sons. All with a shit-faced grin on.

Nothing low class about being happy for the results of your own hard work.

If you don't like what you're reading...simply ignore me. You'll find out soon enough when someone else replies to my future photo of my cars and and the pic is in the quote...

Geeeez.

Dude, you dig your own holes. This isn't the first time you've came on here and spilt pompass ass over the forums... If you get a deal that's cool. No need to come brag about a below MSRP deal. However, when you out it, you set yourself up for flak-attack.

Respect for those, such as our servicemen who are in a lottery overseas trying their damnest to get lucky as they put their lives on the line for you and I to sit here and debate, is paramount.

Congratz on your success and fortitude in finding your 350's. Please keep that braggadocious attitude elsewhere.

So is the general consensus that the GT350 is really only going to be a two year production run?

Thought I read a few times it was going to be a five year run?

You're reading too much into 2 dimensional media and making assumptions.

I can announce I got a GT350 and I can announce I got it BELOW MSRP because it's a very good day when you can go buy a car and make the salesman a nice commission and not get overcharged. Everyone is happy.

I have not slammed anyone on the forums who've said they got theirs as well. Nor have I asked how much they paid. Simply because the person I'm concentrating on getting a good deal for is me, not them. You follow? Take care of yourself and if along the way you can help someone out then you pay it forward. If you got the car then all the joy in the world for you. Enjoy it. If you spent more money than FoMoCo feels its worth then you don't have to share that part. It might sting a little knowing that the patience wasn't there to overcome the anxiousness. But, in the end you got what you wanted. And its something that makes you happy.

But, if slamming me helps you sleep better then great. I'm happy for you. In the end I still got what I wanted. And the salesman got a customer for life.

Most times with a specialty car...the salesman is only interested in the sale, not the customer loyalty. If you run your business like that then you can expect customers to bail on you later on. I tend to build bridges. Foster relationships and grow the business based on trust, honesty and integrity.

If thats something you value and in doing so it has gained you 2 GT350's... then why not say it. It will certainly let others know it is possible.

And if you need a little help.... here ya go.

Focus on the smaller dealers. Small town dealerships with locals working in it who know everyone in town by name.... odds are... they are very much aware about customer loyalty and the benefits that facet of business will bring for them.

The big dealerships tend to focus on making the big sale not making the customer.

That's almost grass roots, but certainly the way it was meant to be, and for some people it still matters.
