Hi guys, just wondering if anyone else is finding it impossible to heel-toe the downshifts?
I'm finding that the throttle pedal is way too low in relation to the brake so I can't get the roll across to work.
I see there are bits on the market to change the height but I'm just curious if anyone has come up with a better (cheaper?) solution as yet?

Under heavy braking the pedals are fairly even, but yes not very ideal.
That's where I'm going wrong! Throttle pedal spends far more time near the floor than the brake...:D

Yeah have given up trying. I'm used to doing it in my other car all the time, even cruising in traffic but the GT seems to only be do-able when at max braking and even then its pretty suspect.

Tried playing with foot position but the footwell trim piece to the right of the pedal doesn't help much either. Either that or we're both doing it completely wrong...

I'm kinda thinking that maybe some parts could be bent/modified to bring things back into alignment or thereabouts. Dunno. I'll squeeze my head up under Sally's dash sometime soon.

That's^ pretty much what I've put on mine.

I have the Steeda heel and toe pedals but I needed to put almost an inch worth's of spacers under the throttle pedal to bring it up enough to be able to blip it at anything other than max braking and even now it could do worth another 1/4" or so.

Also keep in mind using good brake pads made for the track, your pressure on the brake pedal will be less.
I use the G-loc 10's and WOW, the car slows just thinking about it. lol

That's a good point you raise Mike.
For me, I'd prefer the brakes to have a slightly longer pedal throw, allowing better (more accurate) modulation of pressure.
I'm not tracking the car, so I'm highly unlikely to find any fade in these super massive Brembos.
You've got me thinking about running a harder compound pad once these ones are done.
