Heater failure

Hate to resurrect an old thread, but has anyone found a solution to this? Still dealing with it on mine. New actuators seem to work no longer than a month.

Opened the case of a few "failed" ones, put the position sensor fingers back on the rails, reinstalled, and they seem functional until the position sensor eventually gets sent off the track again, throwing a DTC for actuator failure and position sensor failure. Really odd behavior.

Ive been living with this problem for the longest since 2016, we in 2022 now, Ford will never fix the issue so what I did was since I have an Ngauge, I just have that closed and it redircts hot air to the passenger side and as long as you have the cabin circulate button on it will eventually come out warm air and thats what I do, and when it's summer i can use the AC since it's stuck on cold for the passenger and and i can adjust the driver side still so that what ive been doing, my car is FBO cammed with a CJ on e85 and had zero check engine lights or any codes thrown .
