Heated wheel

My heated steering wheel has ripples all around the diameter, is this common and will it dry out and crack? I did a search with no answers Thanks.

Your profile says you have a 2020 so it should still be under warranty. You can always stop by a dealership whenever you get the time.

@Gee 104 my 2018 GT with heated steering (Purchased Jan 2018) started showing the ripple in the steering leather by end of 2019 (around 20K miles). Never took it in to the dealer but I will eventually buy a new steering wheel because all other interior leather look good in the car and the wheel looks like it is 10 years old haha
