I dont really like being upstaged by people and clearly forum members have been impressed by Ian_whus efforts.
Another thing ford have let us down with is not giving us a heated front screen. So, seeing as my car is in for its paintwork and stuff next week I am going to take the screen out and see if I can part the laminates and install a heated element. I think the attached will do fine.

I will part the screen, insert the heating element and then glue it all back together with PVA

I reckon I can do it for less than a ton and it will come on automatically when it gets cold so you go out to a defrosted screen in the mornings

Try pritt stick, think it's better than PVA.

I think you're missing a trick there. The invisible trace heating strips you're using are waterproof so you could stick them on the outside. That way when the wipers run over them they'll make a wub wub noise to enhance the EB engine note :D you'll sell loads of them!
