Headlight help

noticed my headlight bulb out on my 16 Premium gt.
Replaced bulb. Still out.
Replaced HID ballast, still out.

Anyone know of any other parts to check?

I plugged in a raxiom led headlight and everything worked fine, so i do not think its a wiring issue.

Did you try swapping bulb sides? Passenger bulb on driver's side, and vice versa?

Yes i plugged in the pass side light to te drivers side, which worked, and now does not... so its def a wiring issue. Anyone know if each light has its own fuse?

Car is more than likely being sold next week, swapped out the raxiom lights and ran into this issue

It has to be a wiring or fuse issue. The raxiom lights are LED and use less power... maybe thats why they worked. Who knows.

Did you try reading the manual? :-)

The owners manual for a 2015 says 20A fuse (numbers 33L and 35R) for each light.

I replaced both fuses for the heck of it. I decided to put the stock headlight assembly back together with the original bulb and ballast. I plugged it into the passenger side and it works fine (did this again). Plugged it in the drivers side and no headlights, just indicator lights.

I have an LED raxiom headlight. plugged that into the driverside and everything works. Im at a loss.

They'll often fuse different sides, opposite corners etc., to make sure a fuse doesn't take down all your light. You may have a tripped breaker.

Oops, missed the part of another light working on the suspect side. That is weird. Breakers can reset themselves. Perhaps that's the case? Sounds remote.

No clue. Next is checking grounds ect

If the original plug wasn't modified, that will rule out reverse polarity. If you have a volt meter, set on D/C, black lead on chassis ground (fender screw or frame bolt), then look for 12 volts in your connector with the red lead. If you don't find 12 volts, then it's a continuity chase back to the fuse block. If the 12 volts is there, there's a ground problem somewhere. A wiring schematic would help a lot. The fact that the LED fixture worked adds a strange twist.

Stupid question
I ask this because i did not install the LED lights... American Muscle did for their YouTube channel.

Is there supposed to be relays here? See pics.

I would be inclined to agree that the relays need to be there, but, you said the right side is working.

So no need for relays... which makes no sense, but found the red power wire was brittle- put a little jumper in there to test and boom works! Ordered a new connector should have tomorrow.
