Headlight disassembly- blackout

Retroshop is who I've decided to use. They are the ones who did the Diode car.

I didn't see anything in their gallery comparable to some of the stuff tlf did like all the custom led and switchback work. Pretty disappointing

the lighting firm is closed. which is a shame because they made some nice lights at one point. i haven't found another company that does the customization they were once capable of

Looks like it'll be permanent. Unless he starts again with a new business, anyway. There was a lot of customer dissatisfaction, so it would be a rough start if he did try again.

I'll probably just do it myself. Really want the [MENTION=9987]Diode Dynamics[/MENTION] sequential turn signal gills and the brighter white LEDs. Not sure if I should black out the bezel or color-match it white. :cheers:

White could be pretty cool!

But we did ours in gloss black and it turned out amazing. Retroshop did the paint work, and knocked it out of the park

Good luck. I can say their quality control was horrible - mine had to go back three times. They were not up front about the lights/differences with the product they were using vs what they promised... I ended up with a decent build, but they could certainly be better and it took 6 months to finish.

If Chandler ever opens a shop again, I wouldn't recommend him, that's for sure.
