I installed mine over the weekend and screwed up both sides, but barely. I'm the only one that can see the tiny imperfections. This was due to me pulling them up and reapplying after I had gotten all the air/water out. But, you can't see the issues unless your 1 foot away. Overall I think they look awesome. I'll try to get good pics soon.

I got the tinted ones, not the blackouts. I'd say tinted ones are perfect for what I was looking for. The amber only really shows well when direct head lights or the sun is shining on it.
I'll be looking for your pics:). I also ordered the Amber because I didn't want them too dark.

I highly recommend using heat. In my opinion these are impossible to install correctly without either a heat gun or a hair dryer (what I used, works fine).

Even that section of the headlights has enough curves that it makes it super tricky to get the vinyl to stick. Get a spray bottle/cup with water and a couple drops of dish soap. Windex can also work. Get both the headlight and the vinyl wet, apply, move into position, and starting from the center, push the water out towards the edges (fingers or credit card works well for this). When its on there pretty good, start applying heat to the wrinkles. Heat, smooth, heat, smooth. You can get them perfect that way, in only ~15 minutes a side.

If you totally screw it up, take it off, dip in water and apply heat while gently pulling the vinyl back to its original shape. These things are very salvageable, its hard to ruin them.

Just use a good amount of water and a heat gun or hair dryer!

I know this is old but does anyone have a good comparison of the blackout vs tint? Looking to order a set but can't decide if the blackout looks to be too much and just thrown on there

I had the tints at first and switched to blackout later, looks much better imo.
