Hey Guys! I just installed these corner black out decals, and after the install I took the car out of the garage and parked it outside. Well, on the side that the sun was hitting on, it made the decal very rough and bubbled. I know it was the heat and not my install because the side that was in the shade is still smooth. I put the car back in the garage and was wondering if this will go away once it cools down?

I had a similar experience with their tail light kit. The vinyl became very soft and gooey when it got hot. I peeled it back off half way through the install because it would not stop marring and scratching. I've heard a lot of good things from this company, but I'm thinking they must have gotten some bad vinyl, or have changed brands or something.

I still want my tails tinted, but I'm leery about doing it again.

I have their tints on my headlight amber and never had this problem. I have had them on all summer in the sun light for more than a few hours. Im sure you can get a replacement from them.

You pretty much have to use a heat gun, but in modesty. There is a slight vertical curve to the tail light lenses and the tint won't lay down correctly without heat. Some have installed them in direct sunlight and this helps as well. I prefer to lay vinyl in the shade and use a heat gun to control the location and amount of heat being used. Too much heat and the vinyl can stretch and lose it's shape.

Yeah I'm pretty familiar with laying vinyl I've done it to almost all my vehicles. Heat gun is the smartest way to go lol and in the shade of course thanks for the reply bud.
