Has anyone heard this before?

I’m gonna try to enhance the audio but recently our S550 started making this sound. I heard inside the car and then you can hear it outside the car if listening for it.

I’ll try to enhance the audio but it’s a knocking sound.

That reminds me of the sound a stuck valve lifter makes, but not sure how that applies to your engine. What does the oil look like? Have you changed it regularly or did ya let it get nasty a few times before you did?

Ummm just changed the oil, diff and trans fluid in April. Its not a daily driver so its changed one time a year or 5k miles. Possible! It didn't seem that dirty.
