Hard shift into 2nd gear (automatic)

Just picked up 2016 ecoboost automatic, car has 24000 miles and is bone stock and the car shifts hard into second gear and I wanted to see if anyone has any input on this as I couldn't find any info myself for automatics.

Was using the paddles in sport mode today and didn't bring it to redline, might've been about 4800-5000 and the tires actually chirped going into second. Otherwise its generally when flooring it and bringing it to redline in full auto.

Hmmm, since it is a used vehicle it could have a tune on it, and therefore have increased line pressure for harder shifts in sport mode.

Are there any mods on the vehicle?

Wondered the same thing but it seems to never have been modded after checking for signs of such.

I edited the original post as I didn't include that it is completely stock.

going to second in sport+ and doing a pull coming from a full stop it's quite hard in my opinion, in normal drive you shouldn't feel it.
