H Pipe, but which one?

Ok, been reading everything I can find on here about resonator deletes and X vs. H pipes and think I'm going with an H pipe. But which one? The prices swing radically, but I think I've narrowed it down to these two...opinions or experiences?

Sounds like there may be some folks that have had less than great experiences with Shifteck. I was close on deciding to go H pipe over the X and would have bought the Steeda product. Like those guys. They are heavily invested in the Mustang community. Price is right

Yeah, the opinions are all over the board, but Steeda is on most people's list...

Steeda is solid. I would get that one out of the two that you mentioned.

Steeda is the way to go.

There is soooo much misinformation about exhaust scavenging and back pressure. X pipe or H pipe won't have an appreciable effect on your power / torque production. Your headers are the most important for exhaust scavenging which reduces back pressure MUCH more than a mid pipe. Also so long as you do not go below OE exhaust diameter you will pick up some area under the curve but not enough to matter a whole lot without headers too.

TL/DR pick your mid pipe based on what kind of sound profile you want & make sure it is at least OE size in diameter.
