Don't let your car sitting outside stress you out. Just wash and wax every now and again and you'll be fine. At its base, a car is a tool we use that gets us from point a to point b. A tool gets dirty every now and then and it might show some wear eventually, if used. Just means you are doing it right. :)

Mine sits outside 99% of the time regardless of weather. Its not practical for me to park it in the garage since I would have to move 2 cars out of the way each morning before work and then it sits in a parking lot all day. I cant remember the last time I washed it either :D

parking outside is fine. Wax the top surfaces of the car when the water stops beading and avoid bird droppings, which means avoid parking under trees.

The last few posts were on the track. Get out your saw and hammer and build a car port.

Mines 100% parked outside. I'm not too picky about my car either. I wash it every now and then when I get a few days off, which is like every 3 months lol.

Was just curious to how many of you guys have yours outside getting beaten by the sun.
My 15' has been outside since day one, bought a cover from CJ Pony Parts early on. Here in NY my concern was more of the winter, but the cover keeps it clean and to me that was well worth the money.

Car covers are fine as long as you aren't constantly putting them on and off which in your case sounds like you would. They are good for when you plan on parking a car for months. Pulling one on and off every day or week will run the risk of dragging grit across the paint causing little scratches that can easily be buffed out but still. A good wax/seal and you really shouldn't worry about it even being outside unless you have lots of tree debris/sap falling around it. The biggest thing you want to worry about when a car is sitting outside is bird shit. Never let it sit on your paint for long.

Mine is also outside 24/7... my biggest issue is not the weather, but my 3 yr old grandson and his wagon. He's already got me once :(

I only use mine when snow is predicted. When i take it off i fold it up from the bottom of the car to the roof, then i go to the back of the car and slowly roll it up to the front of the car and neatly place it in its bag. No scratches on my car!

The DAY I bought my car I went to my girlfriend's house and parked in her driveway.

I got up the next morning, and there was a mess of cat hair on the roof, where a damned neighbors cat had sat and given himself a bath. He also scratched up my car.

All within hours of picking up my car!!!

I put a car cover on it when at her house, but only at night. I do get some micro-scratches, but I can take care of those much easier than cat claw scratches.

I'm losing my garage soon, as we're moving from a house to an apartment. Before that happens, my car is getting a polish, and a solid coat of ceramic.

Get the car coated with a ceramic coating.

Also, maybe you could buy a cheap tent, just to have it under something?
