I like the black stripes but I've always (almost always, I had an 03 Mach 1) leaned away from anything with stripes. If these peel off, I'll have a clone :)

they only release different colors and/or versions one at a time... or they don't at all, making the first and only release go up in price on the open market. that happened to me once and i was very sad :(

Is anyone here familiar with models from GT Spirit? Are the stripes painted on? Are the emblems decals - or molded or cast? How easy are they to disassemble?

If I bought one, I'd take it apart and convert it to match my car.

dunno. depends on the model. some are painted and cleared over, others are tampo print or decal. i guess you'll just have to wait until it comes out.

emblems are either a decal or photoetch, again depending on what the real one was. taking apart a resin model usually involves screws, but sometimes there is glue involved. also the glass is mylar sheet, not clear formed plastic, so extra car has to be taken.
