Here's some pics. Hopefully they uploaded correctly. Last one with my cobra shows the tints which is a great contrast to the rest of the black on the car.

2011gt350. I don't know what you use on your black paint, but your car looked awesome. Your car along with the Ford display at Barrett Jackson's was what really started me considering getting the car. BY the way, I think I saw your buddy with the white one at a cars and coffee at the Westport train station a month or so ago. If not, there's 4 of us in CT. Either way in the spring we should meet up like you said and get them all together.

Thanks for the welcome. The 305's are too stretched in the back? PM to discuss the Cup 2's.
Congrats on the R!

The closest to the R spec Cup 2s as far as thread width and total diameter is a set of MP4S in 295/30 F and 305/30 R. They are a bit heavier and a bit wider (actual dimensions) in the front but same thread width as 315/30 Cup2s in the rear. To me the 325/30 are way too wide.. Check out the specs of the MP4S in the dimensions I mentioned and compare with the Cup2s - you will see what I mean.

Thank you sir! I am guessing you saw my buddies car and his was also the car displayed at Barrett Jackson at the casino. Would be great to get all of them together as our state is small and travel is fairly quick.

Congrats on the R! Love the LB with stripes, very sharp.

If the previous respondent passes on the PSC2's I can pick them up depending on what town you're in. PM me as needed.

Sounds like a plan when the weather cooperates.

What is the "track alignment" and how does it help with the wheel poke if running 325/30 in the rear? Thanks for any additional input.
Basically setting the alignment with more negative camber, will bring the top of the tire inwards, hence less wheel poke, less tire friendly while daily driving but more tire friendly on the track,

Ahhh, now it makes sense. Thanks for the clarification. I'm not sure I'd go that route since I'm not going to track the car but appreciate the feedback.

Unfortunately, I have not. I saw pics of 325/30 and, as I mentioned, I think they are sticking out too much. If you look at the specs of those compared to Cup2s 315/30 you can see why.
In any case, when the Cup2s wear out on my R spec wheel, this is what I am planning on getting. Check out the specs below

fpa1974,

Thanks for the detailed information. Surprised, but the numbers don't lie, definitely worth considering.

Appreciate the recommendation. Any additional pics from different angles by chance? Thanks in advance.
Here ya go. Looks fine to me. And IMO the problem with the P4S is that they are wider... but not because of tread. They have a rolled shoulder especially when compared to the Cup 2s that cause the tire to be wider and the tread to be more inboard.

Here's an old pic of my original Cup 2s to show you what I'm on about.. complete with severe cracking and a screw for good measure. Looking at fpa1974's chart you can see the section width is the same between both 305s.

But I may be the minority here. I didn't want to give up section width either.
