I got all my work done outside early this morning to watch the live feed.

Nothing will make my morning like watching the GT350's put the piglet™ to pasture.

I will say..that for me the original 65/66 GT350 is still one of the most attractive American sport coupes of all time, if not THE most attractive. The aftermarket GT350 package from Shelby American was distinctive, but not that appealing.

Oh it appeals... The 624hp version was just a street thug, the SCCA approved NA version was planted.

The new GT350 will likely run circles around both.

Let's not pretend the EBPP isn't a ball of fire in competition. It does in fact hand the previous Gen Pony Cars their asses in FS.

It can't handle the Boss and the Boss couldn't handle the '15 GT. The two 1LE's got run out by everyone. Those were the first events for those Mustangs...
I realize I'm 6 days late to fixing this but I don't read this thread as it makes the anxiety waiting on my GTPP to show up even worse. Then I read shit like this and want to just bang my head against a wall repeatedly. :frusty:

I'd LOVE for you to show me where in any of the National Tour results for F-Street an Ecoboost Mustang outran a 5th gen Mustang with both having competent drivers. Go ahead... I'll wait.

Right now the competitive cars in F-Street are this:
-2015 Mustang GT (mostly the PP)
-Camaro 1LE (because wider wheels than anything else in class)
-2011-2014 Mustang GT (Both Brembo and TP cars)
-2006-2009 Shelby GT (the Shelby GT, not the GT500's)
-E90/E92 M3
-E46 M3

Each of these cars has advantages and disadvantages. The Ecoboost Mustang has none. In stock form, the car is anemic, heavy, not well damped or well sprung and doesn't have the wider rear wheel of the GTPP (every ounce of width and tire helps). If the Ecoboost had about 30 more HP and torque, it might be able to outpace the Shelby GT on certain courses (mostly power courses) but it's going to take a lot of work. The Ecoboost Mustangs wont be competitive in SCCA solo in ANY class until E-Street Prepared when boost opens up and you can fix the anemic engine.

Maxwell took a nasty drive through, so he's down in 10th at the current.

Davis is 2.7 behind lead, Cindric is 3.4 behind lead.

Blah...

I'm glad they stopped the race once Liddel took first. Poor Rum Bum got screwed...

At least no scratches...

The GT350's were doing well and I think they will do even better once they get more seat time and experience in with the platform.

I think it's fairly obvious now that the Z/28's were sandbagging during qualifying.

That z28 is suppose to win the Championship this year.

They strategically stopped the race as soon as they took 1st.

Wonderful...

Oh yeah?

So why is an EBPP beating 1LE's in FS?

Seems kinda strange you say it can't happen yet, it did Day 1 right here on these forums.

It's pathetic...

You do know, in order to secure a Run-Off position, you must do well in your region right?

One Camaro 1LE, two SS's and three M3's in the Run-Off's this year.

ALL THE REST ARE MUSTANG's.

You need to beat the EBPP in order to secure more Run-Off spots. That didn't happen...

Mostly 2012-2015 GT's and one 2007 GT.

The Camaro has difficulty making the Championship Run-Off's. Because it can't place in the top 3 all year.

First Regional Event this year.

GTPP
Boss 302
GTPP
EBPP

Mostly members here. The two 1LE drivers are Camaro5 members. I am not claiming incompetence every time a Camaro loses.

Okay, I know people think I'm not smart but, how come the 1LE's are not dominating this mostly stock class dedicated to JUST handling?

Shouldn't the 1LE serve the GT, especially since this was the 2015's FIRST TIME OUT. This is those 1LE's 2nd and 3rd season of effort.

In order to win a spot in the National Run-Off's, you need to put in effort all season. If you can't push these EBPP's aside Regionally, you won't have a strong showing Nationally.

AND, since a 1LE can make it to the Run-Off's, it's not all incompetence.

Looks like this race was being celebrated by one of your friends thePill.

Also, I like your haircut.
