So does anyone have a link to the darker bezels?

Jmeo brings up a good point. Before FRP came out with their version we we're all eagerly awaiting the arrival of the OE R wheel which we were never able to get our hands on due to the heavy backorder.

For those who are in no rush and are interested in the R wheel without bezels you can pre-order here for less than the FRP wheel http://www.levittownfordsupercenter.com/ford-mustang-steering-wheel-upgrade-gt350r-p-4185.html

This wheel can take anywhere from 60-90 days to get so please understand this before ordering.

Thank you,

Please change my order # 7053 to this new wheel, FR3Z3600BD
Also, you provide free shipping to forum members, and is the price shown the best for forum members?
Thank you,
Steve

the carbon wrap looks great. i had some left over 3m black wrap and did mine in matteblack. it came out not too bad, though the middle of the bottem piece was tough. it is unwrapped, but the wrap falls a bit into the middle.

if you can find the wrap, its not too tough to do it yourself. just have extra for a couple tries if needed.

Very nice. Looks like it came out of a black hole.
I like a wheel that has good design but is not garish or demand attention due to prominent color. The driver's eyes are to have an undisturbed view of the road and not be distracted by a blinged out steering wheel.

Looks nice danielc. I've been deciding whether I wanted to do carbon fiber or matte black for the silver bezels. I think I'll copy you :)

That looks great. I haven't wrapped anything before. On those parts, would wrap survive removing and reinstalling the part? I'm thinking about wrapping them on the stock wheel but will wait if they would need re-wrapping when moved to a new wheel.

I wonder how hard it would be to paint the bezels the color of the car?

Thanks! I would suggest waiting or wrapping again, only because you can make sure the wrap is tucked in the back. My work here wasn't perfect so I tucked the excess behind the part. Though I am sure it would survive if you are careful.

I think they could be, I was thinking of doing that too but didn't want to go through the hassle. The keypads can unscrew and come off so you only have the bezel part. This also made tucking the wrap around the middle edges, then when the keypad goes back it looks seamless.

Those look really good. I'd like to do that to my own steering wheel; I'll need to see what the time investment would be like. I think I'd go with a matte grey, though.

I really wish there were something available to replace the cheesy fake-chrome tuner/volume/climate control knobs with actual billet parts, but after having disassembled the dash for my TomTop install I don't know how feasible that would be.
