For you...the majority say otherwise!
Honestly I consider what you said to be vendor bashing. If you don't like the price then don't buy. Getting on a board and telling people you think a vendor's price is too high is inappropriate in my opinion. I fully expect you to bash me for that opinion as well. Thank you. By the way the price includes the wheel.

What did I just read?

Read the thread title, it says GT350, if you wanna go talk about how great that wheel and the price is go start a new thread and I won't comment on it.

I don't personally care if that wheel is talked about here, but I'm also free to state my opinion about it. Some people here have said some flaws in the GT350 wheel here and that the alcantra doesn't feel good...those are opinions and I have no issue with them.

If you are sensitive to comments, this forum isn't for you.

anyways back onto topic...

Nothing wrong with saying a lot of people think $500 is too much for a steering wheel.

Can you post pics of the gap you are taking about between the bezels and base?

You are getting way too hung up on that particular steering wheel. I said $500 is too much for A steering wheel. Period. Doesn't matter if the thing is solid gold $500 is more than most people are ever going to spend on a steering wheel. I'm starting to think you own stock in carbon dynamics lol. Tons of other threads talking about insane vendor pricing you may want to look into. Anyway to socal's point back on track. This thread has done a great job of staying civil and on point so people can learn about the ford/ford racing GT350(R) wheel and I apologize for my contribution to this tangent of the thread.

I have no stock in CD. I looked at the price of the stock GT350 wheel and the cost to do what CD does seems reasonable. I haven't been able to find a GT350 wheel for much less than $260. With what CD does to the wheel I don't think $240 more is all that much. Clearly some people do and will leave that wheel stock.

Is there supposed to be a tiny gap from where the top of the bezels snap into the round base of the wheel? If no one understands what about what im asking i will upload some pics later on.
No there's not. That is where they snap into the wheel. My right side required me to grip them real tight for it to snap into place. The left required me to press from the top front of the bezel and from the back top portion between the wheel and column

You will hear them snap into place, if you didn't hear a sound it's not snapped in

A business is entitled to make a profit. You are entitled to buy it , or not. Called free market. I think CD's prices are pretty reasonable.

Anyone else keeping an eye out for the gt350 steering wheel or one similar?

I personally am not fond of the stock steering wheel it is rather small in diameter and would prefer a D shaped wheel with some thickness. The GT350 wheel looks like it would be a direct replacement for us.
We have a few GT350 Wheels in stock and ready to ship! $289.99 plus shipping. If you have any questions feel free to give us a call at 561-753-8105 or shoot me a PM!

Thanks,
Chris

I can see how the alcantara would wear out fairly quickly and will need to be replaced. I suppose I will cross that bridge when I come to it.

Anyhoo...it's installed.
Looks great Klumpikat!

I'm sure periodic washcloth wipes along with soft bristle brushing now and then will be easy ways to maintain that new look and feel of the wheel.
