GT350 on my tail!

Nice Friday on my way home from work, hour drive home. See a GT 350 closing in on me quick... Young kid driving with a manufacturer plate! He gives me a couple revs as he goes by. Very nice car for sure!!! I reply with a drop to third at 75... My stainless works full exhaust says no stock GT here. It was much fun, keep it cool on the street!

That's one of those rare Pre-Production cars that were only sedately driven by top ford executives.....at least that's what it will say in the used car ads.

Don't worry with an M-plate it was daddy's car for sure.

I grew up in the Detroit area and had friends who their dads worked for Chrysler and brought home all of the new cars every few weeks. It wasn't cool when they were daddy's work cars trust me.

At Ford it is not allowed. M plates can only be driven by authorized Ford employees. If an employee gets caught loaning it out it is cause for termination. They cannot even allow test drives.

It is possible the 'kid' is a new employee or intern.

Makes sense. My son is mid 20s with an engineering PhD and works for Ford in Dearborn. Wasn't him though. He would have mentioned if he was driving a GT350.

Trust me it happened ALL the time no matter what the policy was- Crossfire, SRT-10 truck, even up to Vipers. Even competitor cars like an S2000. And believe me they were NOT nice to those cars and beat on them horribly.
